The Wedding Gift

This scene from The Big Bang Theory has a lot of economics in it. Howard buys the guys a “Fantastic 4” comic book to celebrate his upcoming marriage. Sheldon becomes upset because his present to them (a gravy boat worth $88) is worth less than the comic ($100). Sheldon gives Howard $12 (less $2 for a card he bought).
