Reuben (Ben Stiller) is fluffing throw pillows and storing them before bed like he does everyday when Polly (Jennifer Aniston) asks why he spends so much time placing and replacing the pillows. Reuben has never really thought about the opportunity costs involved in keeping the bed looking nice.  I use this scene in class to illustrate the marginal benefits and marginal costs of our actions and to suggest that the optimal amount of organization or cleanliness is not 100%.
